Ox-King - Extra Hot Fermented Kimchi (9oz)
The ruler of Fire Mountain walks among us.
Ox-King takes that funky fermented flavor of Chi-Chee and supercharges it with a 9/10 superhot trio. Same real fermented vegetables (cabbage, radish, carrot). Same funky complexity. Same miso depth. But now with Ghost, Trinidad Scorpion, and Carolina Reaper peppers that transform gentle funk into aggressive fire.
Here's what makes this special: fermented foods and super-hot peppers are a match made in heaven. The tangy, funky acidity from the kimchi and miso cuts through the heat in waves, giving your palate moments of relief before the next burn builds. The gochugaru's fruity, smoky notes play beautifully with the super-hots' own fruit-forward heat. This isn't just "add hot peppers and call it done"—this is engineered heat that respects the fermentation.
Perfect for:
Not ready for the flames? Start with Chi-Chee at 3/10 heat for all the flavor, gentle warmth.
Refrigerate after opening.
